American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology
The
Award of Excellence Scholarship Program provides college scholarships for
graduating high school seniors with asthmatic.
American Digestive Health Foundation (ADHF)
The
ADHF funds numerous research awards to encourage scientific and clinical
discovery. These awards provide opportunities for individuals from the high
school student to the established investigator in many areas of concentration
in gastroenterology and hepatology. Approximately $3.0 million is awarded in 15
different categories.
Scholarships
in education, science, engineering, library science, or mathematics for first-year
college students enrolled in one of the 32 tribal colleges located across the
U.S.
American Indian Graduate Center
Offers
fellowships to qualified Native American and Alaskan Native students to pursue
graduate degrees in all fields.
American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES)
Scholarships are awarded to members of AISES who are American Indian or Alaskan Native college students pursuing academic programs in the engineering, mathematics, medicine, natural resources, or land science fields.

scholarships to reward high school seniors, who have proven academic excellence,
excelled in extracurricular activities, volunteered in community service,
developed a performing talent, and remained physically fit.

Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association
Offers scholarships for U. S. military veterans or active-duty personnel to pursue communication careers. Scholarships are also available for nonmilitary (civilian) students in a variety of programs.
Carnegie Endowment for
International Peace
Offers
fellowships to uniquely qualified graduating college seniors to work as
research assistants to the Endowment's senior associates.
Corporation for National Service
Offers
fellowships and internships to undergraduate students who wish to immerse
themselves in a particular topic that leads to a publishable paper.
Offers
scholarships to graduating high school minority seniors to help offset the
first semester cost of college.

David and Dovetta Wilson Scholarship Fund
Awards
scholarships to high school seniors who have demonstrated a commitment to

Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund
To
date, FEEA has awarded over $2.75 million in college scholarships exclusively
to federal and postal employees and their family members.
Gates Millennium Scholars Program
Offers
a variety of scholarships to minority students entering the first-year of
college.
Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities
The
HACUs scholarship programs target HACU-member colleges and universities. Based
on the requirements requested by the funding source, these scholarships may
target specific majors, levels of study, institutions and/or regions of the
country.
Hispanic Outlook Scholarship Fund
Program
awards scholarships to high school seniors planning to attend one of the
schools listed in “Publisher’s Picks” which is published, usually sometime in
November, in Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine.
The
largest Hispanic scholarship-granting organization in the nation. Offers an
array of scholarships, fellowships, internships, and grants.
Horace Mann Scholarship Program
Scholarship
funds are available to help children of public school employees attend college.
International Furnishings and Design Association Educational Foundation
The
IFDA Educational Foundation awards student merit scholarships each academic
year to full-time students. Grants are awarded in the fields of textiles,
furniture, window treatments and flooring.
International Reading Association
Offers
over thirty awards and grants in nine different categories.
Japanese American Citizens League
Offers
scholarships to high school seniors, undergraduates, graduates, and law
students. Every applicant must be a
National JACL member.
Offers
scholarships to college-bound graduating high school seniors who are Key Club
members.
Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc.
The
La Unidad Latina Foundation Academic Scholarships are awarded to Latino
students in pursuit of higher education.
League of United Latin American Citizens
Offers
a variety of scholarships to minority high school seniors, undergraduates, and
graduates.
Offers
global science scholarships to high school seniors pursuing engineering,
information technologies, or physical sciences.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
Offers one-year undergraduate scholarships for the children of active duty, reserve, or former U.S. Marines. (No enlistment conditions attached to the scholarships.)
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
A
special 100% scholarship-based program which is a rigorous six week residential
summer program that introduces promising minority high school juniors to
engineering, science, and entrepreneurship. The program is designed to
encourage students to pursue technical degrees and careers.
Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation
Provides
an alphabetical index to grants, scholarships, and other financial aid programs
available in Texas and describes the eligibility criteria for each program.

Miss Active Teen Across America Pageant
Offers
a mail-in-pageant competition that awards $1000 college scholarships to young
women between the ages of 13-19 for their involvement in community, school, and
family.
National Academy of American Scholars
Offers
four different types of scholarship programs with awards given to high school
seniors and college freshmen that exhibit scholastic excellence and outstanding
character.
National Alliance for Excellence
Offers
a variety of merit-based scholarships to high school seniors, undergraduate,

National Merit Scholarship Corporation
Conducts privately financed national academic competitions for
recognition awards and college scholarships. Offers a variety of programs for

National
Restaurant Association Educational Foundation
The Foundation supports senior high school
students, undergraduate students and educators who are committed to furthering
their education in the restaurant and food service industry.
Native
Visions awards scholarships annually to help pay for college enrollment. Once
accepted into a college, any American Indian high school senior may submit an
application for scholarship money.
Orphan Foundation of America National Scholarship Program
The
OFA has several scholarship programs for orphans and youth in foster care to
pursue education beyond high school.
President’s Student Service Challenge
Offers
awards and scholarships to young Americans for outstanding community service.
Public
Service Scholarship Program awards support for students interested in public
service careers by offering merit-based scholarships.
Ron Brown Scholar Program, The
Offers
scholarships to academically talented, highly motivated, African-American high
school seniors who have demonstrated financial need, social commitment, and
leadership potential.
The
Siemens Foundation provides more than $ 1 million in college scholarships and awards
each year for talented high school students to pursue education in science and
engineering.
The
Target All Around Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors and current
college students who demonstrate a commitment to volunteer work and community
service. Also offers scholarships to teacher and administrators who plan to
enroll in a continuing education course.
Also
known as the high school seniors’ dream scholarship, this fellowship offers a
one-year grant to graduating seniors so they may travel outside the country for
independent
study. (Yes, this is the scholarship that allows the student to bike across
a country, climb a mountain, or search out different beaches all in the name of
learning something new.)
Offers
scholarships to students attending a UNCF member college or university or a
historically black college or university.

The
Walton Foundation Scholarship is a $6,000 scholarship payable over four years
awarded to college bound high school seniors. The recipients must work for
Wal-Mart or be the child of a Wal-Mart employee who is employed full time.
The
Women’s Sport Foundation is a leading provider of grants and scholarships for
female athletes of all ages.
